Earthquake Hits Himachal Pradesh, Terrified Locals Rush Out Of Homes

The earthquake hit the Mandi district at 8:42 am, as per the National Centre for Seismology.

An earthquake hit Himachal Pradesh's Mandi on Sunday, leaving locals terrified. The earthquake hit the Mandi district at 8:42 am, as per the National Centre for Seismology. 

This comes days after a 4-magnitude earthquake struck Delhi-NCR. Despite falling in the moderate category, the tremors were strong enough to shake houses and forced people in several high-rise buildings in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad to rush out.

The epicentre of the quake was in the Jheel Park area of Dhaula Kuan and there were some reports of people hearing a loud sound as the ground shook.
