Delhi's Minimum Temperature Settles At 12°C, Strong Winds To Persist Through The Day
The temperature in Delhi was recorded to be at 12 degrees Celsius, India Meteorological Department says strong winds likely through the day.

Delhi experienced a chilly morning with the minimum temperature settling around 12 degrees Celsius, on Thursday. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), strong winds are likely to continue through the day, but the sky is likely to remain clear.
However, the national capital has seen no significant change in minimum temperature in the past 24 hours. The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 26 degrees Celsius. The humidity at 8:30 am was at 64 per cent.
The weather department said that the maximum and minimum temperatures in Delhi range between 25-27 degrees Celsius and 10-12 degrees Celsius, respectively. The minimum temperatures are 1-2 degrees Celsius above normal, while the maximum temperatures are 1-3 degrees Celsius above normal in most areas.Del
In the early hours, mist was reported at Safdarjung Airport, where the lowest visibility of 3000 metres was recorded at 2:30 am. Similarly, mist was also observed at Palam Airport, with the lowest visibility of 2500 meters recorded at 7:00 am.

The Western Disturbance persists as a cyclonic circulation over Jammu and Kashmir and its surrounding areas at an altitude of 3.1 km above mean sea level. Additionally, the Subtropical Westerly Jet Stream, with core winds ranging from 130-140 knots at 12.6 km above mean sea level, continues to dominate the plains of northwest India.
On Wednesday recorded a maximum temperature of 26.5 degrees Celsius, which is 3.1 notches above the season's average, the Met office said. According to the India Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 11.6 degrees Celsius, 1.4 notches above the season's average.
According to PTI, the air quality was in the "moderate" category with an Air Quality Index reading of 129 at 9 am, according to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). An AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor', and 401 and 500 'severe'.
