Delhi Budget Session To Be Held From March 24-26, CM Gupta Seeks Suggestions From People
Delhi CM Rekha Gupta said the budget session will be held from March 24 to March 26. She also said that anyone can send in their suggestions for the budget.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday announced that the budget session for the national capital will be held from March 24 to March 26. She also sought suggestions from people saying that anyone can send in their suggestions, and the government will try to incorporate them in the budget. She stressed that this budget will be for 'Viksit Dilli' and assured the government will fulfil the promises made to the people of the national capital before Assembly polls.

The Delhi CM also released a phone number for people to send in their suggestions for the budget.

"This Budget is 'Viksit Delhi' Budget and we are trying to include all suggestions of the people and to fulfil all the promises we made in our manifesto like financial support to women, control pollution, cheaper and healthier food to poor, health facility of elderly, cleaning Yamuna river and more," Delhi CM said.

CM Gupta further said that all officers have been instructed to include the suggestions of all sections of the society, for which an email id has also been issued.
"We have invited women's organisations from across Delhi on 5 March to take their suggestions for the budget. On the same day, educationists have also been invited for their suggestions," she said.
The Delhi CM then announced that trade unions have been invited on March 6 to know their suggestions for the budget.
Stressing that the Delhi government will work to fulfill all the promises made to the people of Delhi, Gupta said: "In the coming days, all ministers and MLAs will go among the people to know more about their expectations from the budget...We will fulfil all promises made to the people of Delhi. The secretariat is working on weekends also."
"We have less time and a lot of work to do, so we will reduce press conferences and rather stay among the people... Today, discussions will be held on the CAG health report in the assembly," she added.
