Video: Cook Mixes Urine In Dough, Makes Roti With It In Ghaziabad Society

The family members were reportedly suffering from liver issues for several days. Despite seeking medical treatment, their condition did not improve.

A video of a cook mixing her urine in the food being prepared for a family in Ghaziabad has gone viral on social media. The incident, which took place in Crossings Republik society, was caught as her employer placed a mobile phone in the kitchen after having suspicion.

The businessman and his other family members were reportedly suffering from liver issues for several days. Despite seeking medical treatment, their condition did not improve. It is when the businessman suspected that something was wrong with their food.

A case has been registered against the house help under the relevant section and she has been arrested, police said, adding that further legal proceedings are underway.

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Wave City, Lipi Nagayach, confirmed the case and stated that the accused had denied mixing urine into the food during questioning. However, she said, the investigation is ongoing.  The woman had been working for the family for the past eight years. The businessman said there was a theft in his house a few years ago but he never suspected the house help.

Man Mixed Semen In Faluda

As a video of the incident surfaced on social media, food safety authorities and law enforcement raided the ice cream facility.

Meanwhile, the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government is planning to introduce two new ordinances aimed at cracking down on unsanitary food practices, The Indian Express reported.

The two ordinances have been tentatively named "Prevention of Pseudo and Anti-Harmony Activities and Prohibition of Spitting Ordinance 2024" and "Uttar Pradesh Prevention of Contamination in Food (Consumer Right to Know) Ordinance 2024", it added.
