BJP's Nishikant Dubey Offers Sweets To NSUI Workers Protesting Over His Remark On Rahul Gandhi: Watch
BJP MP Nishikant Dubey gifted sweets to NSUI workers protesting outside his residence after his controversial remarks about Rahul Gandhi.
Bharatiya Janata Party MP Nishikant Dubey on Thursday offered sweets to workers of the National Students' Union of India, the student wing of the Congress party, who were protesting outside his residence in Delhi.
The NSUI workers were protesting over his remark in the Parliament against Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi.
On December 5, a war of words broke out between Dubey and Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi as the former questioned Gandhi's meetings in the US.
In his remarks, Dubey linked Rahul Gandhi to a US-based billionaire investor and an investigative platform, alleging a conspiracy to derail India's progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Staging a protest against Dubey's statements, the NSUI workers reached his residence when the BJP MP came out with a plate of laddoos and started offering it to the members.
In return, the NSUI members gave him roses and fed him the sweet.
On Wednesday, Gogoi reiterated the party's request for a ruling in connection to the 'defamatory' remarks. He wrote a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla seeking action against Dubey.
"As highlighted in my previous letters to you on December 5-6, 2024, we remain deeply concerned about the defamatory remarks made by Member Parliament Nishikant Dubey against Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Member of Parliament from Wayanad Priyanka Gandhi Vadra during the Zero Hour Session on December 5, 2024," Gogoi said in the letter.
"I implore you to announce your decision to examine our complaint and remove all defamatory and unparliamentary remarks from the record. After your decision, the Congress Party is keen to participate in the Legislative Business list for the ongoing Winter Session of Parliament," he added.
