Posters Outside Lalu Prasad's Home Invoke Salman Khan Hit Day After ED Questioning: 'Tiger Abhi...'

Posters supporting Lalu Yadav, who is being questioned in a land-for-jobs scam, have appeared outside his residence in Patna.

A day after Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav appeared before the Enforcement Directorate for questioning in connection with the probe into land-for-jobs scam, posters in support of former Bihar CM have been put up outside his residence in Patna.

The posters read, "Na jhuka hun, na jhukunga, Tiger abhi Zinda hai." In the poster, Lalu was seen being pulled down with a rope by some people, while he stands firm. In the visuals, those people who were shown pulling Lalu down were termed as 'RSS, CBI, Bhakt, ED and PMO'.

Yesterday, as the former Bihar CM arrived at the ED office in Patna, a large number of RJD workers gathered on the street leading to the central agency's office on Bank Road to showcase support for him. His wife Rabri Devi also accompanied him to the ED office.

Rabri Devi, Tej Pratap Grilled By ED

On Tuesday, Prasad's wife Rabri Devi and elder son Tej Pratap Yadav, who have both been named as co-accused in the case, were questioned for four and four-and-a-half hours respectively.

Meanwhile, the former Bihar Chief Minister's younger son Tejashwi Yadav, who is also named as an accused in the case, claimed that his name was dragged into the matter since he was involved in politics.

"The more we are harassed, the stronger we shall become. Of course, the case is politically motivated. Had I not been in politics, I would not have been dragged into this. I had predicted after the Delhi assembly elections that now the agencies will turn their gaze towards Bihar," news agency PTI quoted him as saying.

The allleged land-for-jobs scam pertains to the period when the RJD chief was the Railway Minister in the first term of the Congress-led UPA government.

On Tuesday, Rabri Devi arrived at the ED office at around 10:30 AM. She was accompanied by her eldest daughter Misa Bharti, Lok Sabha MP from Patliputra, who is also an accused in the same case. Lalu Prasad's younger daughter Hema Yadav has also been named an accused in the case.
