Bihar CM Nitish Kumar On Pragati Yatra Lays Inaugurates Projects Worth Rs 1,437 Crore In Gaya
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is on a 'Pragati Yatra', visiting different districts. On Thursday, he inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 1,714 development projects in Gaya.

Bihar News: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar laid the foundation stones of various projects in Gaya and inaugurated several schemes in the district on Thursday, February 13. The CM reached Lawabar in Imamganj, a Naxal-affected area of the district, by helicopter and laid the foundation stone of Lawabar Beer Dam and inaugurated various projects worth Rs 1,437 crore. These were done in the fourth phase of his 'Pragati Yatra'.
The dam will be constructed at a cost of Rs 26 crore. The construction of Lawabar Beer Dam will help farmers irrigate about 400 acres of land and control floods.

During his 'Pragati Yatra', Nitish Kumar also laid the foundation stone for the extension of about 25 kilometres of road from Imamganj to Salaiya. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inspected various schemes, including the Govardhan Gas Scheme, Panchayat Haat, and a playground in Batsapur village of the Bodh Gaya block. Nitish Kumar also inaugurated a building of a hospital in Gaya city.
Inauguration and foundation stone laying of 1714 development projects After the foundation stone laying and inauguration of hundreds of schemes, CM Nitish Kumar will hold a review meeting at Gaya Collectorate in the evening. CM Nitish Kumar inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of a total of 1,714 development projects. A total of Rs 1,437 crore will be spent on the schemes.
Nitish Kumar is touring Bihar's districts as part of the 'Pragati Yatra' ahead of the elections due in October this year. Kumar is highlighting the achievements of his government during the Yatra.
