Bihar Accident: Dozen Injured After School Bus Collides With Truck In Chhapra, One Critical
A school bus in Bihar's Chhapra collided with a truck, leaving one student critically injured and a dozen severely injured. The injured were taken to Chhapra Sadar Hospital, where one student's condition is critical and he has been referred to Patna.

One student is in critical condition and a dozen others are severely injured after a school bus collided with a truck in Bihar's Chhapra. According to an NDTV report, the incident took place in Anantapur in Chhapra, which is approximately 70 km from the capital Patna.
According to the police, a DAV school bus was waiting to pick up a child when a speeding truck rammed it early in the morning. The injured children have been referred to the Chhapra Sadar Hospital for better treatment from the local health centre.
The injured was taken to Sadar Hospital by locals right after the accident took place. After being admitted, the condition of a student named Golu Kumar is said to be critical, and he has been referred to Patna for better treatment.

In a separate accident on Monday in Vaishali, a woman crossing the road on the Hajipur-Muzaffarpur main road (NH-22) was crushed by a speeding pickup van, killing her on the spot, reports Amar Ujala.
After the accident, a huge crowd of local people gathered. The pickup van was surrounded by angry people, and the driver was caught. According to the Amar Ujala, Sarai police station chief Mani Bhushan Kumar reached the spot with the team, seized the pickup van, and took the driver into custody. The body, meanwhile, was sent to Sadar Hospital, Hajipur, for post-mortem.
