Bengaluru Rocked By Three Murders In Span Of 12 Hours, Suspects Yet To Be Nabbed
The bodies of 52-year-old Nagesh and 44-year-old Manju Gowda, both natives of Ramanagar and Mandya, were found on Saturday morning when a coworker entered the shed where they worked.
Three murders in separate incidents in a span of 12 hours shook Bengaluru on Saturday. Two men, working as cleaners for a logistics firm, were killed in the northeast part of the city, while a woman was killed allegedly by her son in Hongasandra.
The bodies of 52-year-old Nagesh and 44-year-old Manju Gowda, both natives of Ramanagar and Mandya, were found on Saturday morning when a coworker entered the shed where they worked.
According to the police, the victims suffered fatal injuries with a hard object, that led to blood loss eventually leading to their deaths.
As per the initial investigation, Suresh, a co-worker who shared the shed with the duo, is the prime suspect. He went for drinking along with two other colleagues which escalated into an argument. He allegedly attacked the two victims, Nagesh and Gowda, on Friday night and fled the scene.

The police have sent the bodies for a postmortem and registered an FIR under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita section 103 (murder) and formed a team to search for Suresh.
In the second case, a woman was found murdered inside her house at Hongasandra in Bengaluru on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Jayamma, a housewife. Jayamma got separated from her husband 20 years ago and has two sons, according to the police.
When Jayamma was not picking the calls, a friend of her came to check on her at home. As she did not open the door despite knocking, she alerted the house owner, who managed to open the door with the spare keys, only to find her dead.
There were no apparent injury marks except the one on the temple area of the head, raising suspicion if she was smothered to death. However, a post-mortem report is awaited to establish the exact cause of death.
At the time of the incident, her younger son, who is a bus driver, was in Anekal on duty and came to know about his mother's death from police, a senior police officer said.
The victim lived with her younger son and did not get along with her elder son who is suspected to be involved in the murder, the officer said.
"We have registered a case at Bommanahalli police station and are awaiting post-mortem report to ascertain the exact cause of death," the officer said.
A detailed investigation is underway to nab the culprit and ascertain the motive behind the murder, police added.
