Baba Siddique Murder: Salman Khan Under 24/7 Surveillance, AI-Enabled CCTV Installed Outside Galaxy Apartments

Salman Khan has been facing a series of death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, which recently claimed responsibility for politician Baba Siddique's murder in Mumbai.

Following the murder of politician Baba Siddique in Mumbai and threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, the security at Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's house in Bandra has been beefed up significantly. Heavy police deployment was done in the area around Galaxy Apartments to ensure the actor's safety and prevent any potential threat to him.

More than 60 policemen dressed as civilians have been deployed around Bandstand and near Galaxy Apartments. These policemen work 24/7 and monitor all the activities in the area. Adhering to a standard operating procedure (SOP), these police officers stay on toes, maintaining constant vigil over each and every movement to scan any thing suspicious, India Today reported.

Besides this, the Mumbai Police have installed high-resolution CCTV cameras that are equipped with facial recognition technology. These AI-enabled cameras can detect individuals who pass by the area several times, flagging any face that is detected more than three times, suggesting potential reconnaissance. Additionally, a dedicated command centre oversees the area 24/7.

The report described the visuals outside Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments as a police barrack, due to security checkpoints at various spots and officers posted at key points. Around 60 other uniformed policemen, including female officers, are posted right outside the building. These police vans and jeeps report to the Protection Branch and Bandra Police.

Those entering the building are screened thoroughly and their identities are noted and verified at the entry gate. Fans and unauthorised people have been prohibited from assembling outside the actor's house.

The Y-plus security cover guarding Salman Khan includes eight to ten armed policemen. Some of them even travel with him. The area where he travels to is secured before his arrival as his movements are coordinated with the local police stations.

Salman Khan's house is adjacent to veteran Bollywood actress Waheeda Rehman and a Parsi colony lies to the left of his building. Both these locations have been secured. There is an apartment building behind the ten-foot boundary wall, which is also under the surveillance of policemen in plain clothes. Some personnel are also guarding the boundary wall.
