Another YouTuber Arrested For 'Spying' For Pakistan, Seen With Jyoti Malhotra In Pics

Jasbir Singh also maintained a close contact with arrested YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra and Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish, a Pakistani national and expelled Pak High Commission official.

Another YouTuber has been arrested for his alleged links with a Pakistan-backed spy network in India. The YouTuber, Jasbir Singh, operates a YouTube channel called 'Jaan Mahal' and has over 1 million followers.

Singh also maintained a close contact with arrested YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra and Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish, a Pakistani national and expelled Pak High Commission official, the Punjab Police said.

The action was taken by the State Special Operations Cell in Mohali. Singh is a resident of Mahlan village in Rupnagar.

Who Is YouTuber Jasbir Singh

Singh has been found associated with PIO Shakir alias Jutt Randhawa, part of a terror-backed espionage network.

Investigations have revealed that Jasbir attended the Pakistan National Day event in Delhi on Danish's invitation, where he met Pakistani Army officials and vloggers. He travelled to Pakistan on three occasions (2020, 2021, 2024), and his electronic devices contained multiple Pakistan-based numbers, now under detailed forensic scrutiny.

After Jyoti Malhotra’s arrest, Singh attempted to erase all traces of his communications with these PIOs to avoid detection. An FIR has been registered in Mohali.

Investigations are underway to dismantle the broader espionage-terror network and identify all collaborators.

YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra's Pak Links

Malhotra, who hails from Hisar, is the creator of the YouTube travel channel 'Travel with JO'. She was recently taken into custody following the registration of a case under the Official Secrets Act and relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

Authorities allege that she had established direct links with Pakistan's intelligence agency, ISI, shared classified details, and regularly met officials at the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi.

Sources further claim that Malhotra made two trips to Pakistan, and a video has surfaced showing her visiting Lahore's Anarkali Bazaar under the protection of armed guards. She was placed in judicial custody for 14 days on May 26.
