In another incident, a 23-year-old youth from Jharsa, Haryana was allegedly assaulted with iron rods at gunpoint earlier this month. He suffered fractures in both his hands after being assaulted by a group of 15 men near Vaishali Travels office in the area.
The victim, Nikhil, fell unconscious during the attack, following which the accused fled the spot. He was then rushed to the Medanta Hospital by his friends. Police suspected that a personal dispute might have been the reason behind the attack.
