Zepto GPT, Predictive Data & Pin Code-Level Insights: A Look Inside Zepto Atom

Brands will also be able to track sales activity by the minute, monitor customer impressions and conversion rates, and gain full visibility into customer journeys, as per Zepto

Quick commerce company Zepto is stepping beyond deliveries and into the world of consumer analytics with the launch of Zepto Atom, a subscription-based platform going live on Friday, May 16. The new offering is designed to provide real-time, actionable data to brands listed on Zepto’s platform, helping them better understand customer behavior and optimize their strategies.

What Is Zepto Atom?

Zepto Atom is a data intelligence platform tailored for brands using Zepto’s delivery network. It gives users access to in-depth insights, such as real-time sales trends, consumer buying patterns, repeat purchase and retention metrics, and predictive analytics for future demand.

Unlike standard dashboards, Zepto Atom goes hyperlocal, offering detailed information at the pin code level, enabling brands to assess market share and product performance on a neighborhood-by-neighborhood basis.

What Sets It Apart?

One standout feature is the platform’s minute-by-minute tracking, which allows brands to monitor live sales and inventory movements, customer impressions, and conversion rates, and end-to-end visibility into a customer’s journey from browsing to purchase.

Zepto Atom will be available through its dedicated website and mobile app, operating independently of Zepto’s core delivery service.

Introducing Zepto GPT

The platform comes powered by Zepto GPT, an AI-based assistant developed using Natural Language Processing (NLP). Trained on Zepto’s proprietary data, this assistant can generate performance reports, answer brand-specific queries, and provide data-driven recommendations for marketing and product placement. This tool is designed to simplify complex datasets and make insights more accessible to brand managers and marketers.

Market Ambitions

Zepto aims to shake up India’s Rs 1,000 crore consumer analytics market, which is currently dominated by global research giants like Nielsen and Kantar. The company believes its vast data ecosystem and tech-driven approach will allow it to offer similar insights at a significantly lower cost.

What’s Next?

According to co-founder and CEO Aadit Palicha, Zepto will continue to invest heavily in Atom’s development. “Zepto Atom is a serious attempt by our category and tech teams to build a disruptive new product in the consumer analytics industry in India. We believe we can harness the millions of data points Zepto generates every day to give brands customised and real-time insights on their products at a much more competitive price point than they are currently incurring,” said Palicha.

Palicha also revealed plans to continue investing in the platform over the coming year, with upcoming features expected to include AI-generated customer personas and automated survey tools for targeted user groups.
