Share Market Update: Falling for the eighth straight session, the BSE Sensex plunged over 311 points Monday on heavy selling in banking, FMCG, IT, auto and pharma stocks amid sustained foreign fund outflows. Meanwhile, foreign institutional investors sold shares worth a net Rs 966.43 crore on Friday, while domestic institutional investors were net buyers to the tune of Rs 853.25 crore, provisional data available with BSE showed.
