Patanjali Mega Food And Herbal Park: The Patanjali Mega Food and Herbal Park, located in Nagpur's MIHAN area, is set to be inaugurated on Sunday, March 9. Speaking to the media on Friday, Acharya Balkrishna, MD of Patanjali Ayurved Limited, emphasised that manpower skills are being developed for this plant, with a strong focus on providing employment to the local population. He highlighted Patanjali’s leading role in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's skill training programme, aimed at enhancing workforce skills across the country.
"We are also identifying and supporting talented individuals. Our foremost priority remains creating employment opportunities for the local people and uplifting farmers," Acharya Balkrishna said. He urged for collective support and cooperation for the plant's success, stating that Patanjali was committed to improving farmers' livelihoods and transforming the agricultural sector in the region. "Today, nearly every farmer from every village in this area is connected with us," he said.

Balkrishna acknowledged the significant time and effort invested in establishing the plant, noting that the Covid-19 pandemic posed several challenges along the way. Despite these obstacles, he said, "We remained committed and successfully completed the project. Patanjali is playing a key role in realising Prime Minister Modi's vision of a skilled workforce by actively contributing to his skill training initiative."
Highlighting the plant’s state-of-the-art infrastructure, Balkrishna shared that it is equipped with advanced packaging lines, technopack systems, and cutting-edge research laboratories adhering to modern industry standards. He said: "While we have access to the global market, our primary goal is to provide the highest quality export-grade products to the people of our country."
Based on raw material availability, the facility will produce a range of fruit and vegetable-based products, including orange, lime, gooseberries, pomegranate, guava, grape, bottle gourd, carrot juice, mango and orange pulp, along with onion and tomato paste.
