Mohak Nahta, CEO, Atlys, earlier pledged to provide free visas to Indians if Neeraj Chopra secures a gold medal for the country at the Paris Olympics 2024
The CEO of a visa start-up based out of the US honoured his promise made ahead of the Olympics and provided free visas to all Indian applicants. Mohak Nahta, CEO, Atlys, earlier pledged to deliver the freebies to Indians if Neeraj Chopra secures a gold medal for the country at the Paris Olympics 2024.
However, Chopra secured a silver medal at the Olympics with a throw of 89.45 metres, after Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem won a gold medal with a record throw of 92.97 metres.
Nahta reaffirmed his commitment to the customers and in a post on LinkedIn said, “I promised a free visa if we won gold. Today, it's clear—it's not the colour of the medal but our spirit that shines. To celebrate this achievement, I'm going ahead with our original offer of free visas for all Indians today.”
The post quickly went viral. The gesture from the executive was appreciated greatly by Netizens. Several users also shared screenshots of emails from the company showing that the CEO delivered on his promise.
