From Rose Petals To Bottle, Know How Patanjali Syrup Is Prepared

According to information provided by Patanjali, the production of Gulab Sharbat begins with fresh rose petals, rose water, and a small amount of sugar.

These days, Patanjali Ayurved's 'Gulab Sharbat' (Rose Syrup) is generating a lot of buzz in the Indian market. The company claims that 'Gulab Sharbat' is not only a symbol of taste and freshness but also a treasure trove of Ayurvedic health benefits. The syrup is produced in the company's state-of-the-art factories through a blend of traditional methods and modern technology. Patanjali has stated that the syrup is made from natural ingredients without the use of artificial chemicals. Let's learn how this syrup is made and what machines are used in the process.

According to information provided by Patanjali, the production of Gulab Sharbat begins with fresh rose petals, rose water, and a small amount of sugar. Organically grown petals, directly procured from farmers in rural areas, are cleaned using automatic washing machines. After that, rose water and extract are prepared using steam distillation machines. This process preserves the natural properties of the petals. Sugar is dissolved in water, heated to form a thick syrup, and then mixed with rose water and Ayurvedic herbs like cardamom.

Impurities Removed Using Filter Machines

The mixture is homogenised in stainless steel mixing tanks and filtered through micron filter machines to remove impurities. In some cases, mild pasteurisation is done to increase shelf life, although Patanjali emphasises its commitment to natural purity. The prepared syrup is filled into food-grade bottles using automated filling machines, which are then sealed and packed using capping and labelling machines. Conveyor systems make this process faster and more efficient. Each batch is tested using devices like ph meters and Brix meters to ensure quality.

Syrup Beneficial For The Body: Patanjali

Patanjali exports this syrup not only within India but also to global markets like the USA, Europe, and Africa. The company's mega food park empowers local farmers who contribute to rose cultivation. According to the company, this syrup is considered beneficial for digestion, skin health, and mental calmness. Patanjali’s dedication to naturalness and quality makes it a leader in Ayurvedic products.
