A Year Since Getting Offer Letters, Wipro Freshers Ask About Onboarding On Social Media

Freshers who received offer letters from IT major Wipro almost a year ago are demanding updates regarding their onboarding on social media. First reported by the Times of India (TOI), fresh graduates are commenting on Wipro Chairman Rishad Premji and Wipro's HR lead Saurabh Govil's posts to demand answers about their onboarding timeline. 

In reply to the latest tweet by Rishad Premji, one user wrote, “#WiproOnboardUs2022 #Wipro #Elite #Turbo @Wipro we all Elite Selected candidate waiting for 13month for  Onboarding & Joining. Pls Onboard us @WiproCareers @RishadPremji @LabourMinistry @TDelaporte @PMOIndia @nsitharaman @jdhankhar1 @rashtrapatibhvn @MilanRao

While another user tweeted, “Please sir try to understand the condition of freshers selected in 2021 but till now waiting for onboarding. I hope you understand the condition and do something regarding the onboarding.”

On Twitter, candidates are using the hashtag #WiproOnboardUs2022 to communicate their grievances. 

A Linkedin user commenting on a post by Wipro's HR lead Saurabh Govil, wrote, “Hello sir, It's already January 2023 and we hear no updates from the Wipro team until now. It's already 1 year after the offer letter, 7 months after graduation and we hear nothing from you side. Please onboard us.”

The company in reply to TOI said, "Wipro can confirm that it will honour all offer letters that have been made to deserving candidates, in a phased manner."
