2022 Hurun Global Rich List: With A Net Worth Of $103 Bn, Mukesh Ambani Only Indian In Top 10

2022 Hurun Global Rich List: The top three billionaires in Hurun's rich list include SpaceX and Tesla founder Elon Musk, Amazon executive chairman Jeff Bezos and LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault.

New Delhi: Chairman of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani is the only Indian to be included in the list of top 10 billionaires in the world, according to a report compiled by research platform Hurun in coordination with real-estate group M3M titled 'The 2022 M3M Hurun Global Rich List' on Wednesday.

According to this list, among Indian billionaires, Ambani ranked first with a net worth of $103 billion, followed by Gautam Adani with a net worth of $81 billion. Shiv Nadar and their family are at third place with a net worth of $28 billion. Cyrus Poonawalla is fourth with $26 billion and Lakshmi Mittal is fifth with $25 billion.

According to the report, Mukesh Ambani's wealth has grown at the rate of 24 per cent and his net worth was US$ 103 billion. Mukesh Ambani is the ninth richest person in the world. On the other hand, Gautam Adani has registered an increase in his wealth at the rate of 153 percent. And in the list of the world's rich, he is at 12th place.

The top three billionaires in Hurun's rich list include SpaceX and Tesla founder Elon Musk, Amazon executive chairman Jeff Bezos and LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault.

While in the list of top 100 billionaires, three new Indians who have managed to enter the list are Cyrus Poonawalla, head of Serum Institute of India who was ranked 55th with a net worth of $26 billion, ArcelorMittal executive Chairman Lakshmi Mittal is ranked 60th with a net worth of $25 billion, and RK Damani, the founder of D-Mart and family, is at the 67th position with a net worth of $23 billion.

India's other top 10 billionaires include RK Damani & Family and SP Hinduja & Family - who have a net worth of around $23 billion, followed by Aditya Birla's Kumar Mangalam Birla & Family and Dilip Shanghvi & Family, who have a net worth of 18 billion. Kotak Mahindra Bank MD Uday Kotak is the tenth richest person in India with a net worth of $16 billion. Falguni Nair, the founder of Nykaa, has been included in the Hurun Global Rich List 2022 with a net worth of $7.6 billion.
