New Delhi: In terms of high-end cars, there is one car-maker that stands apart and that is Rolls-Royce. It is the most exclusive and also amongst the most expensive cars in the world. Case in point being the new Ghost Black Badge that has been introduced in India. It is the latest version of the Ghost luxury sedan and falls under the Black Badge range which is the most dynamic Rolls-Royce along with the most power.

The current Rolls-Royce range includes the flagship Phantom luxury sedan, Cullinan and the Ghost. The Black Badge range includes the Cullinan now and the new Ghost that you see here.

While buyers can choose from over 44,000 colours, the black paint with the Black Badge is special in the way that over 45kgs of paint is used to create the darkest black while being hand polished. It takes nearly 5 hours just to paint it.

The wheels are special 21 inch carbon fibre wheels plus the side also gets a hand painted coach line. There is darker chrome trim all over for the complete blacked out look.

The interior is different from the standard Ghost with a deep diamond pattern in carbon and metallic fibres. With the Black Badge owners can customize the car with virtually anything along with lots of colours for the leather used inside. The air vents are darker with sportier trim too.

The dashboard is also illuminated which represents stars with 152 LEDs. Even the headliner is similar to a sky filled with stars!

The engine is a huge twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre V12 engine but is even more powerful with the Black Badge making close to 600PS and 900Nm. Standard is a 8-speed automatic while the Ghost Black Badge gets an additional 'low' button for sportier driving. There is air suspension of course plus rear axle steering which makes parking easier.

The cost for all this? The price is not mentioned because there is no limit with a car like the Rolls-Royce Black Badge as various options can be added which increases the price by crores. Speaking of which, the Ghost Black Badge with full options can be nearly Rs 13 crore! Yes, that makes it the most expensive new car!
