Renault will bring back the 5 hatchback again in electric form for its global markets with a reveal being a few days away. The new Renault 5 hatchback is all electric and is supposed to be a premium hatchback to rival the likes of the Mini Cooper. The external charge indicator is on the bonnet and the rear styling references the iconic Renault 5 which used to be one of the best-selling cars in France in the 70s.

New Renault 5 And Fresh Lineup
The new Renault 5 has a 52kWh battery pack and measures 3.9 m in length and is roughly the size of the new Mini Cooper. The interior gets a dual-screen setup and a Google-based infotainment system while there are signs of the older R5 as well with the fabric interior. The R5 is a premium hatchback and will only be sold in global markets where such cars are desired. The Renault 5 is too expensive for our markets but globally, earlier cars being brought back in an electric form is the latest trend.
