Kia Sonet Facelift With ADAS To Be Launched Soon. Here's What's New
The Kia Sonet facelift with ADAS will get features like lane departure warning, high beam assist, forward collision avoidance and more.
Kia is readying its next big launch for India and it is now shifting focus to the Sonet subcompact SUV. The Sonet remains one of its popular products along with the Seltos and it also gets some new updates. Styling is the biggest highlight here with a new look front end with new LED headlamps along with new DRLs. Elsewhere the new Sonet could also sport some small changes to its rear styling as well.

Inside, the big 10.25-inch touchscreen would remain but what will be added is a new centre console layout with the switchgear being revamped. There is a new toggle switch layout and a small screen for climate control functions. It will come with a Bose audio system and other features as well similar to the current Sonet.
That said, the biggest update would be the Sonet with ADAS features with level 1 tech now added in. This means that the Sonet facelift with ADAS will get features like lane departure warning, high beam assist, forward collision avoidance and more.

The powertrains on offer will not be changed with the 1.2 petrol being the starting engine while it will also get a turbo petrol 1.0l along with a 1.5l diesel. Both the turbo petrol and the diesel will get an iMT gearbox while the petrol will also get a DCT automatic while the diesel will stick to a torque converter auto. Expect prices to increase slightly upon launch when compared to the current version. Kia will unveil the new Sonet on 14 December while the prices are expected to be revealed by next month.
