New Bajaj Chetak Electric To Have More Storage Space Plus Range

The retro design which is a plus will remain but more power, practicality as well as storage will mean that it will take the fight to rivals even more now

Bajaj is readying its Chetak electric to launch by the 20th of this month but this scooter will also receive some important changes in its new form. First of all, there would be a new platform which will enable the scooter to be lighter while we can also expect more power as well as range, which is crucial. We also think that the styling will largely remain the same but Bajaj could do minor tweaks to make the design even better.

One of the strengths of the Chetak is the design and Bajaj will not be messing about in this department. Plus, you can expect more storage space with the position of the battery being changed. In terms of variants, expect more in terms of options but the prices could see a change with the new look coming at a slight premium. The retro design which is a plus will remain but more power, practicality as well as storage will mean that it will take the fight to rivals even more now.

Competition is very high with the likes of the TVS iQube, Ola S1 plus the recently introduced more practical Ather Rizta. However, in recent times the Chetak has sold very well and even outselling some competition while this new model will further bolster its presence in this segment. Currently, Bajaj is nearing the segment leader Ola electric which in turn has seen sales coming down. We will bring more details leading upto the launch of this electric Bajaj Chetak so stay tuned for more.
