JEEP Meridian Upland and Meridian X Special Editions Launched In India - See What’s New
The JEEP Meridian Upland and X Special Edition models bring in more adventure-friendly and sophisticated styling tweaks to the Meridian family.
JEEP India has launched two special editions of their premium Meridian SUV: JEEP Meridian Upland and Meridian X. Both the special edition models rope in a distinct flair intro their character compared to the regular Meridian lineup. While the JEEP Meridian Upland is more focused towards adventure duties, the Meridian X takes the luxury-quotient of the Compass-based three-row SUV to a whole new level with its added sophistication. However, the overall mechanical componentry and the silhouette of the two Special Edition models remain unchanged.
While the JEEP Meridian already promises a solid composition of class, comfort and premiumness, the JEEP Meridian Upland Special Edition adds the typical rugged and go-anywhere flavour at its disposal. Courtesy of the functional roof carrier and a unique hood decal treatment which the Meridian Upland Edition comes with. Everything else remains familiar though. The JEEP Meridian X Edition on the other hand brings in sophisticated cosmetic additions like body-coloured lower & side mouldings. Interestingly, both the Special Edition meridians also unlock two additional colour schemes to choose from: Silvery Moon and Galaxy Blue.
In terms of features, both the new Special Editions of the JEEP Meridians, share the same ornamentation and functionality with features like Sidesteps, Ambient lighting, Unique floor mats along with best-in-class features – Panoramic Sunroof, Uconnect 5 infotainment system and its proven 4X4 Selec-Terrain system.
While the new tweaks over the regular models which both the Special Edition Jeep Meridians rope in are not huge, but the two additional models with their unique styling add-ons do offer a wider range of options to customers to choose from. Both the new models are now available at JEEP dealerships around the country. The JEEP Meridian range starts at an ex-showroom price of 32.95 Lakh INR.
