When Is Akshaya Tritiya?

Akshaya Tritiya falls on the third day of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Vaishakh. It is believed that the beginning of the Satya Yuga and Treta Yuga took place on this day. According to traditions, any charity or religious deeds performed on this day bring eternal merit, meaning they do not diminish. Purchasing gold on this day is said to invite the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi, ensuring her constant presence in the home.
