Citroen C3 Shine Variant Gets More Features

The C3 Shine is available with the 1.2l naturally aspirated petrol engine and not the turbo unit with 82 horsepower.

Citroen has updated its C3 hatchback with the new Shine variant. This sits at top end of the C3 range and enables the C3 to get much needed new features which were missing previously. The C3 Shine variant now gets an electrically adjustable ORVM, rear parking camera, day/night IRVM, 15-inch diamond cut alloys, front fog lamps, rear skid plates, rear wiper & washer, rear defogger. These are important additions to the features list. There is also the connected car tech on board with 35 connectivity features. The C3 Shine is available with the 1.2l naturally aspirated petrol engine and not the turbo unit with 82 horsepower. When launched with the Live and Feel trims the C3 was missing out on a lot of features and now this makes it a more rounded package. The extra features like the rear camera is very crucial since more features is what the car buyer wants these days. This enables the C3 to better compete with the likes of the Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger amongst others.

The C3 also gets a turbo petrol unit which makes more power. The C3 remains available with only petrol engines. Along the equipment levels the car also gets numerous customisation options. Citroen is also all set to unveil it's compact SUV on the 27th of this month and is a made for India SUV with being designed for our tastes. The new SUV will also get a turbo petrol engine and would be slotted above the C3 hatchback and below the C5 Aircross.
