Bharat Mobility Expo: Byd Sealion 7 First Look Review, Exp Price
Auto Expo 2025: Like all BYD cars there is a large rotating 15.6 inch touchscreen along with a panoramic fixed glass roof, a heads up display, powered tailgate and V2l

BYD has been present in the premium segment till now and it continues to do so with the it's premium new SUV, Sealion 7. This is a pure electric suv that will be slotted above the Atto 3. Bookings have started too with the token amount being Rs 70,000. Prices would be announced soon and there would be two trim levels- Premium and Performance. You can say that it is the SUV version of the Seal sedan while buying the car gets you a 7KW AC charger too.
Deliveries will start from March 7. While the overall shape is more of a coupe suv, the front end is similar to the Seal sedan in many ways particularly the headlamps along with the bumper design. The taking point is the swoopy coupe suv like styling which lends it presence.
It is a big car with a length of 4.8 meters while the wheelbase is also quite long at 2930mm. That long wheelbase means plenty of room on the inside as we saw though headroom could be better. Like all BYD cars there is a large rotating 15.6 inch touchscreen along with a panoramic fixed glass roof, a heads up display, powered tailgate and V2l along with other features like no less than 11 airbags. There is a massive boot too.
Power comes via 530bh in the dual motor battery pack version and it has a 82.5 kWh battery pack. 0-100 is 4.5 seconds while range is 542km. There is also a single motor version with less power at 313bhp and more range. We expect prices to be around 55 lakh starting which means it is a Kia EV6 competitor.
