Patna: Tej Pratap files for divorce from wife Aishwarya Rai

Barely five months into his marriage, Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad, has filed for divorce from his wife Aishwarya Rai. The divorce petition has been filed in Patna's family court.   The couple had tied the know in May this year. The development comes as jolt to RJD chief who is is currently serving term in Ranchi jail for fodder scam but is currently ailing and admitted to a hospital. Lalu has been trying to keep the flock together amid reports of a discord between Tej Pratap and Tejashwi Yadav.

Tej Pratap had declared after five days of being married that he does not want his wife to enter politics but the circumstances changed after a month itself. There is a strong buzz Aishwarya would contest the upcoming Lok Sabha election from Saran. There were reports of Rabri also not being in favour of Aishwarya joining the political ring.
