The massacre occurred after Rapid Support Forces (RSF) a powerful paramilitary group seized control of the city earlier this week.The RSF, engaged in a fierce power struggle with the Sudanese army since April 2023, has recently captured several strategically vital towns across Darfur, further destabilizing the region.
