Shiv Sainiks bow before Meena Tai Thackeray's statue in shivaji Park

Today is the big day for Shiv Sena as Uddhav Thackeray will take oath as Maharashtra's CM. The oath ceremony will take place in Shivaji Park at 6:40 pm. A sculpture of Meena Tai Thackeray, the wife of Bal Thackeray, has also been put up at one of the park's entrances. There is also a modest memorial of late Sena founder Bal Thackeray, who was cremated here in a public funeral a day after his death on November 17, 2012.
