Moradabad: Unique mission to clean Railway stations
In Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad a unique drive has been started to clean the railway stations and manage the waste production. The drive also aims to make compost by using the biodegradable waste. The Process Plant in-charge, Shyam said that they collect the peels of vegetables and complete the procedure within 50-60 days. The compost is later used in plants around the railway station.The railway is planning to implement this method in other stations as well.
