Miracle tree turns crowd violent in Hoshangabad, people attack police

The Nayagaon village had suddenly turned into a pilgrim centre with people from surrounding areas pouring there to touch a miracle tree.
It is in a small village in Narsinghpur district, about 50km from the original cure-all tree in Hoshangabad’s Nayagaon village, where Section 144 has been clamped following a mob attack that injured 12 policemen on Wednesday.
The prohibitory orders came into force a day after an enraged mob clashed with police for being refused to enter the buffer zone of STR in Madhya Pradesh’s Hosangabad district to embrace the Mahua tree as they thought it had healing power.
