Maharashtra: Another state gets snatched away from BJP's hand
Another state came out of the hands of BJP in the form of Maharashtra. The situation is that compared to last year, many states of the country have gone out of its hands. After losing government in Rajasthan, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, saffron color has come down from another big state Maharashtra.
With the BJP out of power in Maharashtra, the Indian political map looks substantially different from what it was in, say, March 2018. Currently, the BJP is in a position of majority only in Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura.
