Know legal clause delaying execution of Nirbhaya convicts | Master Stroke

The mercy petition of Mukesh Singh, one of the convicts in the 2012 Nirbhaya gangrape and murder case, has been sent to the Union Ministry of Home Affairs. The Home Ministry is expected to forward the plea to the President anytime soon. 

Delhi government recommended rejection of the mercy petition on Wednesday evening, and sent it to the office of LG. know legal clause delaying the execution of Nirbhaya convicts.
