JNU: No utility, service charge for hostel students in winter semester

In a bid to ease the tensions over fee-hike in Jawaharlal Nehru University, the administration has decided that hostel students will not bear any utility and service charge for winter semester. As per the administration, until further information, University Grants Commission (UGC) will bear these charges. The university students have been protesting against the hike in fees for over the past two months.
