In the midst of the temple-mosque dispute, now India's radical organization Popular Front of India (PFI) has also entered. PFI has appealed to the Muslims across the country to unite on this dispute. It has also been said to oppose the ongoing action against mosques and places of worship. A letter has been issued for this by the Islamic organization.

A meeting of the National Executive Council of Popular Front of India was held on 23 and 24 May at Putthanani. In which discussion was held regarding the temple-mosque dispute. Passing a resolution in the meeting, this appeal was made to the Muslims across the country. The meeting said that the recent ill-intentioned petitions by Sangh Parivar organizations against Gyanvapi Masjid and Mathura Shahi Idgah Masjid are completely against the Places of Worship Act, 1991 and the courts should not have allowed them.
