West Bengal: MBBS Student Gang Raped In Durgapur, Students Protest For Justice | ABP News

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi strongly condemned the alleged gang rape of a second-year medical student from Jaleswar, Odisha, in Durgapur, West Bengal. The incident reportedly took place outside a private medical college campus in Paschim Bardhaman district, and the victim is currently receiving treatment at a nearby hospital. In a social media post on X, CM Majhi expressed his shock and grief, describing the incident as “highly condemnable and painful.” The case has drawn attention to the safety of students traveling across state borders and demands strict action against the perpetrators. Investigation is still ongoing on the case. The students of West bengal gets out of schools and colleges to protest and ask for justice. The victim is still undergoing treatment.
