West Bengal assembly passes anti-CAA resolution
The West Bengal assembly passed a resolution against the Citizenship Amenement Act (CAA) on Monday, seeking the repeal of the contentious law. It has become the fourth state along with Kerala, Rajasthan and Punjab to move the resolution in the state assembly. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, 'CAA and National Register of citizen (NRC) are against Constitution and humanity'.
