UP: COVID-19 cases surge past 5 thousand

As per the latest reports, Uttar Pradesh has reported more than 5 thousand cases. There are more than 2 thousand active cases of the novel coronavirus in the state. Meanwhile, 3099 patients have been discharged. In the last 5 days, 1174 new infected patients were reported. 127 people have lost their lives due to Covid-19. 

The entire nation is under lockdown till May 31 to combat the novel coronavirus.
