Twitter restores blue tick of Mohan Bhagwat & other leaders' accounts

Hours after Twitter removed the blue ticks from the handles of Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, and other profound leaders, the social media giant restored the status of all of them, following the massive backlash. Earlier, stating the reason for the same, Twitter's spokesperson claimed that 'account is inactive since July 2020. "As per our verification policy, Twitter may remove blue verified badge and verified status if account becomes inactive," he said. Watch video to know more about the story.
