Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday in a veiled attack towards the Congress said that they were pained by India’s unity “whenever they ruled over us” quoted by news agency PTI. Referring to as “enemies”, the PM said that they are “pained by our rise, trying to break the country on lines of caste, language, and race.”
Speaking in Gujarat’s Kevadiya on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, PM Modi said, “Those trying to break our unity may not be just our open enemies, but can be someone from inside also.”
