Sumedh Singh Saini: What is the case concerning former Punjab DGP and how is politics involved?

Five FIRs were registered against former Punjab DGP, Sumedh Singh Saini, in various corruption cases but he got anticipatory bail in each one of them. Despite that, he was arrested by Vigilance Department. But the Punjab and Haryana High Court gave him relief calling the whole probe process unconstitutional and abuse of law.
