Additionally, the police are recovering CCTV footage from cameras that were destroyed during the riot to help identify the perpetrators. A further investigation is underway into 27 mobile phones sent for forensic analysis to recover deleted data, which could reveal if the riots were premeditated. Police have also identified social media accounts and WhatsApp groups that called for gatherings near the mosque. These accounts and their posted videos are being analyzed to uncover more details.
