SC says, "Migrants should not be asked to pay railway fare" | Corona Top 100

In a major decision on the migrant labour crisis, Supreme Court of India has said that no migrant labourer should be asked to pay the train fare while they are being ferried to their home state. Hearing the case via video conferencing, the apex court ordered that the fare should be borne by the government and those labourers that are still stranded should be taken care of by the respective state governments.
