Santosh Kushwaha To Shift To JDU Amidst Clashes, Says Sources | ABP News

Ahead of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, a significant political development has emerged. Sources indicate that JDU leader Santosh Kushwaha may join the RJD today, reportedly due to dissatisfaction over being overlooked in his party. Santosh Kushwaha, who served as a JDU MP in 2014 and 2019, is considered a prominent leader from the Kushwaha caste, and his potential switch could alter political dynamics in the Seemanchal region. Previously an MLA from BJP in 2010, he joined JDU in 2013. The RJD is likely to leverage his influence in upcoming elections, and Kushwaha may contest under the RJD banner, marking a strategic move against the NDA.
