Earlier, in a huge achievement for the security forces, Pulwama-like bombing was foiled in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama. The car bomb attack was prevented after stopping a vehicle carrying more than 20 kg of improvised explosive device (IED). The car had a fake registration number and was signalled to stop by the forces at a check-point.
