Quoting funding delay, Iran drops India from the Chabahar rail project

Iran has decided to go ahead with the Chabahar rail project without India. The Chabahar rail project will connect Chabahar port to Zahedan which lies along the border of Afghanistan

The reason behind the decision was the delay in funds by India. India and Iran had signed an agreement to build the rail line four years ago. 

This move has come up after Iran got a huge deal with China worth Rs $400 Billion
