Ahead of the Bihar Assembly Elections, a major political development has emerged. According to sources, JDU leader Santosh Kushwaha may join the RJD today. Santosh Kushwaha is reportedly unhappy with being overlooked within the JDU. This move is considered a significant setback for the NDA. Kushwaha has previously served as a JDU MP in 2014 and 2019. His possible entry into the RJD could alter the political equations in the Seemanchal region. The RJD is expected to leverage his influence as a prominent leader from the Kushwaha caste. Previously, Kushwaha was elected as a BJP MLA in 2010 before joining JDU in 2013. He may contest elections under the RJD banner.
