Nirbhaya convicts file petition in ICJ to avoid death penalty
Speaking to ABP News, Nirbhaya convicts' lawyer AP Singh confirmed that a petition has been filed in the International Court of Justice in The Hague against the death penalty awarded to the four convicts in Nirbhaya gangrape and murder case. AP Singh said that there are NGOs from Canada and Africa that have filed a petition on behalf of Pawan Singh, one of the accused. AP Singh has argued on multiple occassions that Pawan was a juvenille at the time of the incident and should be treated as such.
