The five-day operation has left the trading community unsettled, sparking widespread discussions across the region.Meanwhile, in Uttarakhand’s Udham Singh Nagar, incessant rainfall has worsened the flood crisis. The Gola River continues to swell, submerging villages and fields. A bridge built in 2016 collapsed the very same year, and repeated flooding highlights the fragile state of infrastructure. With water releases from nearby reservoirs adding to the problem, villagers face a rising tide of uncertainty and displacement.
